About me
Over the winter of 2016-2017, I fell in love with flowers. I always loved flowers, but I began to grow them in an empty, south-facing room of my home, and was caught by surprise with the amount of joy I experienced while caring for these little seeds that began to grow roots and strong stems right before my eyes. I was interested to learn more and as fate would have it, saw a post on Instagram from a local flower farm looking for part-time flower farm assistants for the summer.
I spent the entire summer of 2017 working Friday-Saturday at Eddy Farm, with my weeks filled at my full-time, desk job in marketing. After experiencing the great satisfaction of farm work and floral design for weddings, I realized this was it.
In the Fall of 2017 I quit my full-time marketing job and accepted a position on the farm for the 2018 season, with opportunities to freelance for other floral designers in the area.
My ambition in life is to create moments in time where people can experience the true beauty this world has to offer. Whether through gatherings, food, music, or flowers, I always strive to create an atmosphere that is comfortable, welcoming, and inspiring. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a career that let's me do just that.
